A VISIT TO WORCESTER CHRISTMAS MARKETS TO PROMOTE MY BOOK
I've spent 2 amazing days down in Worcester since Friday at their spectacular Christmas Markets and also took the opportunity to make sure I carried a few of my books everywhere I went.
One lady I commandeered in her shop was Debbie of Francis & Wills by Peplows (as seen on the photograph accepting her signed copy of my book). We got chatting whilst Christmas shopping in their store and as she was previously a Psychologist, she was very interested in purchasing a book, so I also signed it for her. We purchased a number of Christmas gifts there too, it's well worth a visit.
Worcester is a fabulous city, the markets were very vibrant and varied, and there were countless shops, lovely restaurants and bars to choose from to suit anyone's pocket. Worcester's towns folk were very inviting and helpful. Everyone I spoke to were interested in the book and understood the importance of getting my life story out there to try to prevent child abuse. Lots of people were interested in why we were taking photographs of a book in different settings, it generated a lot of interest along with a great many funny looks. Thank you to Worcester and we will be back next year.
